Creating a New Offer for your Target Audience

Small business owners often struggle with creating a new offer for their target audience. It takes time, effort, energy – oh, and did I mention… time?

In this post, I’ll explain why creating an offer is important. You’ll learn how to do it efficiently and I’ll provide a few suggestions + a free challenge PDF to get you started on a stellar new offer of your own. Don’t worry, it’ll be painless, I promise!

What is, Creating An Offer, and Why Does it Matter?

Creating an offer means considering the product, bonuses, guarantees and so much more.

If you want to generate more sales and have happy customers who buy from you again and again, you need to know how to create an amazing offer.

Creating An Offer: Your Product/Service

In this section, we will look at the very core of your offer – your product/service.

Here are a few of my own tips, tricks, and methods for producing your own amazing product offer your target audience can’t pass up:

  1. The Big Promise
  2. Problems Solved
  3. Fulfillment
  4. Format
  5. Troubleshooting

The Big Promise

Easy, peasy. What do you have/produce/give that you can ultimately do/sell better than anyone else? Go ahead! Toot your own horn. It’s okay from time to time, because I want you to gain your audience’s trust and explain to them your value, why they need you, and your product/service through this very offer you are creating.

Problems Solved

How does your offer solve your client/customer problem(s)?

Fulfillment

How do you fulfill your promise to your client/customer? We are all familiar with how goods and services are bought and sold, so go ahead and let your client/customer know how you go about this process and if there are terms and stipulations such as returns, warranties, and no take-backsies.

Format

Tell your story in a clear, easy (blissfully short if you can) format. Use power words that are designed to sell, optimize for search engines with keywords, and really focus on the core benefits of what you are offering.

Troubleshooting

Just when you think you are about done, go back! Proof your offer once, twice, three times for good measure. Ask yourself if you’ve covered these areas:

  • What problem are you solving?
  • Which power words have you included?
  • Did you include the full story?
  • Would you say this to a friend?
  • Does your image clearly display its key features and benefits?
PRO TIP: This is a BIG one! Make sure that when you are creating your offer there is an actual demand for your product/service. Ask yourself what problem(s) your product/service is solving and how relevant it is to your current climate.

Why Create an Irresistible Offer?

Creating an irresistible offer is the best way to generate more sales. More sales = more profit = happier you!  I highly recommend taking a page out of these 19 companies’ books (or maybe just 1 or 2; there’s no need to be an overachiever) and read a few of their case studies where each shows in detail how their companies’ doubled in sales just from this strategy alone. You can read their stories here.
