Telling people about your new product/service launch is often daunting and can leave you feeling like that pushy car salesman shouting from across yonder not once, not twice but too many times that you’ll throw in a free air freshener and floor mats if they just, “take it for a spin.”
From here on out, it’s my promise that it doesn’t have to be that way. I’m going to share with you some tactical strategies about getting your new service/product or concept out there with fresh email marketing designs, social media marketing ideas, and more!
SELLING WITHOUT THAT SALESY VIBE
Owning a virtual business can feel awkward. You are left with nothing but salesman tactics to share and sell not just your product/service — but your actual self. If you’re like me, an introvert, this is extremely tough, because putting yourself out there means showing your face to the entire world.

The icing on the cake, though? You would literally have to dance naked with a monkey in the middle of a grocery store while singing Bob Marley and post that Instagram before anyone got all judgy on you. Well, at least, this is the crap I tell myself every time I have to post brand photos.
So, love, truth bomb. Unless you tell someone about your upcoming launch time after time after time… you are going to hear nothing but chirpy little crickets.
Keep this in mind.
“…it’s not a good idea to be your industry’s best kept secret!”
If you are stuck on how to create the hype about your new website, service, or product, I recommend you try these tried and true methods to get some momentum. I can guarantee they work even for shy introverts who run away from the spotlight (not speaking from experience or anything).
8 Hype Creating Ideas to Market your Launch
1.SHARE WITH INDUSTRY PEERS
Getting your industry friends to share the love through social media platforms is never awkward! You’ve been there for them and now it’s their turn. However, if they are going to share, make sure they are using your pre-made graphics! Everything about a brand needs to be cohesive.
2. USE A COUNTDOWN TIMER
I LOVE timers! I am the queen of procrastination so when I see a timer show up in my email, on a website, or in a story, I get my act together — QUICK. Utilize these nifty little widgets to create a sense of urgency for your audience. If time is running out then your offer disappears forever.
3. RUN PAID ADS
Running paid ads (however, I do not proclaim to be a proficient in the least) to demographic who has already engaged with your website before (or social media) can be a great way to continue the reminder that your offer still stands but is limited and time is ticking.
4. DON’T BE AFRAID TO BE BOLD
Yes, this does sound like an introvert’s nightmare, BUT it is my favorite method. It’s easy, it’s truly one of the most creative ways to express your brand message, and for the most part, it’s free. I like to set up a few weeks’ worth of designs through Canva Pro and then add them to my content calendar to help me post without forgetting.
Here are a few great tools I use to help me manage my content system:
5. GIVEAWAYS!
I adore freebies! I sign up to just about every list for a good freebie (which is likely why I miss every important email that comes in); but really, who can resist? Thus, my point. Be sure to giveaway something relevant to your audience so that they have a reason to visit your website and continue to make future transactions.
6. TEASERS!
The most important part of a teaser is the “why.” When you are sharing short clips and screenshots of your upcoming launch, be sure to share why this launch is coming and create the hype; the level of anticipation that leaves them lingering around for more goodies.
7. INSIDER ACCESS ONLY
Consider gifting and incentivizing others to join your newsletter list for special offers.
8. VIDEO MARKETING
Video is powerful these days, especial through stories on the gram! Use this to your advantage and create powerful imagery of your brand’s “why” or be BOLD and get in front of that camera yourself and talk about those giveaways, teasers, and Insider-Only Access.
